Our curve conveyor units utilise sleeved rollers to move product through either 45°, 60°, 90° or 180° angles, while maintaining each product’s orientation. The sleeved or tapered rollers ensure the orientation by creating a camber, creating a smooth transition around the corner.

Our curve conveyors can be supplied in either gravity or driven modules. The driven modules have the following drive mechanisms:

• Round belt with grooved rollers
• Poly V belts with sprocketed rollers
• Chain-driven jump drive with sprocketed rollers
• Line shaft type drives
• Poly cord pulley system

Siyamuva curve conveyors are driven by means of the following drive types:

• External motor gearbox
• Motor-driven rollers

Standard roller curves are supplied in 400mm, 600mm and 800mm, and we can tailor-make a solution to meet your requirements.

In order for us to supply the optimal product, the following will be required:

• Maximum product length
  • This is to calculate the radius required
• Minimum product length
  • This calculates the number of rollers required in the curve, as well as the speed of the unit
• Maximum daily / hourly throughput
  • This determines the overall speed required by the system
